Membership

Full voting member

Full membership is open to people who primarily reside or own real estate within SOSNA’s boundaries, who have a business owned or headquartered here, or who direct a nonprofit headquartered here. Each full member has one vote. Eligible businesses and nonprofits may designate one member to cast their vote.

Associate member

People living outside SOSNA’s boundaries may join as associate members, except as provided in Article IV, § 2 of the bylaws. Associate members may participate but cannot vote.

Equal access

Membership cannot be denied based on race, creed, disability, national origin, economic status, political affiliation, gender, or sexual orientation.

No dues

SOSNA may seek and accept tax-deductible contributions and other income consistent with its purposes. No donation is required to join.

Meeting cadence

The board meets on the last Wednesday of each month. Committees generally meet monthly, and meetings are open to everyone.

What happens next

If you select a committee, check your email for a link to the SOSNA Slack workspace. Join Slack with the same email address you use here. We will add you to your selected committee channels within about 10 minutes. If you already belong to our workspace, we can add you directly.
